Visitation Academy

Visitation Academy is an independent, private Catholic school where students thrive in an environment that allows them to BE: challenged academically, stimulated creatively, encouraged athletically, inspired personally, supported emotionally, filled spiritually, and appreciated and loved for their unique, authentic selves. From the coeducational, early childhood Montessori program for ages two through Kindergarten to the area’s only all-girl program for Grades 1-12, "Be Who You Are and Be That Well" drives Visitation’s academic and spiritual philosophy. Since 1833, Viz has earned its reputation as the place to BE for an all-girl education.

With a student-to-teacher ratio of 6:1 in the Middle and Upper Schools and 8:1 in the Lower School, personal attention and a sense of community are hallmarks of the Visitation experience. An extensive list of extracurricular activities, a vibrant fine arts program, and numerous opportunities to excel as athletes complement Visitation’s steadfast commitment to academic excellence.
