South City Community School
South City Community School serves 191 students from PreK-3 to 8th grade in the city of St. Louis near Tower Grove Park. We provide a beautiful education experience that honors the personhood of each child and strengthens the fabric of our local community.
SCCS opened its doors in our Reber Place location in the fall of 2010. Our founding families and teachers sought to create a school that would be an inclusive blessing to the south city area. They embraced distinctives that have taken root and come to define the SCCS experience and grow our enrollment from 32 students to 191 over the course of a decade. These include a broad and rich Charlotte Mason curriculum, small classroom size where learning happens in a nurturing, relational context, and active parent involvement that fosters strong community.
We are a missional Christian school that welcomes families from all backgrounds. Come and see our school day in action at either our fall or winter Open House, or by scheduling a tour.
