Saint Louis Priory School

Saint Louis Priory School is a Catholic, independent school for boys in grades 7-12 run by the Benedictine Monks of Saint Louis Abbey. A new 6th grade class will be open in Fall 2025; applications are being accepted.

Priory provides a classical, rigorous, college preparatory education, developing key characteristics that selective colleges and universities are looking for in students.  This includes intellectual skills, service, leadership, sportsmanship, teamwork and collaboration.  In 2024, the consumer website niche.com ranked Priory the #1 Best All-Boys High School in Missouri, the #1 Best Catholic High School in the St. Louis area, and the #1 Best All-Boys High School in the St. Louis area.  Priory's curriculum requires participation in athletics, fine arts, community service and a senior thesis. Nearly 100% of the students undertake college-level work in their last two years, and many receive college placement and credit through the College Board Advanced Placement (AP) Program offered in 14 subject areas.

The school is located on a 150-acre campus at the intersection of Mason Road & I-64/40 in West Saint Louis County.  More than 40% of the student body receives tuition assistance. Father Cuthbert Elliott, O.S.B., is Headmaster.  Priory offers students preparation for an exceptional life. Please come and take a tour of Priory!
