Central Christian School

Located just outside the Clayton business district, Central Christian School serves families with children age 3 through 6th grade for 66 years.  Central is a Gospel-driven, academically excellent community for each unique image-bearer of God that seeks to partner with families to prepare children to engage the world by instilling a passion for God, love of truth, and a zeal to serve.

At Central we are passionate about cultivating a love for learning within our students as well as a deep love for God through our academic program and the relationships fostered between teachers, students, and families.  Our priority on excellent academics, social-emotional health, and spiritual preparation earned Central the title of National Blue Ribbon School in 2016, ranking us among the top 15% of independent elementary schools in the country.  When taking a closer look at our academic environment you will find intentionally small class sizes, a high value on differentiated learning, one-on-one and small group instruction, outstanding curriculum taught through a Biblical world view, racial diversity, and social-emotional supports geared to meet each student right where they are at in all areas of their learning and growth.
