Upper School Social Studies Teacher Villa Duchesne
Villa Duchesne is seeking a full-time Social Studies Teacher for our Upper School, grades 7-12. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic, engaging educator with the ability to give meaning and value to the study of history. Candidates with a master’s degree, AP experience, and at least five years of teaching experience are preferred. Content areas for this role include world history with a preference for AP European History, but other content specialties will also be considered. Villa Duchesne faculty members also serve as grade-level advisors and participate actively in the life of the school.
The ideal candidate will also:

● be able to use technology to build understanding;
● be a relational educator who contributes to the life of the school community as, a club moderator and proctor;
● be organized and responsive in lesson planning, grading, and communication; and
● be dedicated to the success of each student.
