Third Grade Educator Rohan Woods School
Rohan Woods School seeks an experienced Third Grade teacher to join our faculty in a full-time capacity for the 2026–2027 school year. Guided by our mission and commitment to Project Approach, Rohan Woods is a close-knit elementary community with one classroom per grade level. We believe children learn best through meaningful exploration, collaboration, and hands-on discovery.
The Third Grade teacher plays a vital role in shaping the learning experiences of students by inspiring curiosity, wonder, and joyful learning each day. This educator will create a nurturing and engaging classroom environment that supports the whole child while laying a strong academic foundation. We are seeking a teacher who values child-centered learning, embraces collaboration, and is passionate about fostering independence, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning within our supportive school community.
Parent communication is of the utmost importance at Rohan Woods. Building partnerships with parents sets the foundation for successful students. The school year is divided into trimesters, with report cards and conferences taking place within that structure.
Responsibilities
- Foster a joyful and engaging classroom environment that supports the development of the whole child
- Collaborate energetically with colleagues and contribute to the school’s inclusive and collegial culture
- Design and implement dynamic, developmentally appropriate lessons that build strong academic foundations
- Engage in curriculum review, professional development, and the faculty evaluation process
Skills and Qualifications
- A minimum of three years’ experience teaching Third Grade or an adjacent elementary grade level
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A demonstrated growth mindset and ability to develop strong relationships
- Bachelor’s degree required
