Teacher Aide Villa Duchesne

Villa Duchesne is seeking a mission-driven Teacher Aide to support our Lower School Early Childhood program. Rooted in the Sacred Heart tradition, we are committed to educating the whole child, mind, body, and spirit, while fostering a love of learning and a strong sense of purpose. The Teacher Aide partners closely with the classroom teacher to help create a positive, organized, and engaging learning environment where students can grow academically, socially, and emotionally. This role includes supporting instruction through small groups and individual assistance, reinforcing lessons, and contributing to effective classroom management and daily routines.

In addition, the Teacher Aide assists with the day-to-day functioning of the classroom by preparing materials, supporting transitions, supervising students during non-instructional times, and completing basic clerical tasks. The ideal candidate demonstrates flexibility, initiative, and a collaborative spirit, and is committed to supporting students across a range of developmental needs. A bachelor’s degree is required. This position reports to the Lower School Principal and works closely with faculty to uphold the mission and values of Villa Duchesne.
