Receptionist/Administrative Assistant
Community School, a premier Saint Louis independent school, is seeking a receptionist/administrative assistant. Known for its deeply personal and engaged approach to learning, the school enrolls approximately 350 students from age 3 through sixth grade.
This position reports directly to the Division Directors and Director of Admission, and is a key member of the staff. The primary responsibility is to serve as the “face of the school,” welcoming visitors and ensuring that all have a warm first impression. Additional responsibilities include answering the phone, procuring substitutes for absent faculty, and performing various secretarial duties in support of the Division Directors and Director of Admission.
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent with some college preferred. In order to be effective, this individual must be energetic, proactive, and detailed oriented, with strong computer skills and related experience. The applicant must be able to handle multiple tasks, to prioritize projects, work with minimum supervision, and to work well with others.
