Morning Infant Care - M, W, Th St. Michael’s Episcopal Day School

Join our early childhood team three mornings per week to help welcome and care for our youngest learners! This position is perfect for someone who loves infants and understands how important a calm, nurturing start to the day can be. You’ll support infants as they arrive, provide comfort and connection, and help set up the classroom environment so each child is ready for a successful day.

Responsibilities include:
Greet infants and families warmly during morning arrival
Provide loving, responsive care including holding, soothing, and engaging with infants
Support infants with transitions from home to school
Assist with morning routines and classroom set-up
Maintain a clean, safe, and nurturing environment
Communicate kindly and professionally with parents and staff
Follow all school policies related to health, safety, and infant care

Qualifications:
Experience working with infants (professional or personal experience welcome)
A warm, patient, and nurturing demeanor
Ability to respond calmly to infants’ needs
Dependability and punctuality
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Must meet state requirements for infant caregivers (background check, training, etc.)
