Marketing Coordinator Ursuline Academy

Ursuline Academy is a private, all-girls high school deeply rooted in Catholic values and  inspired by the charism of St. Angela Merici. The Marketing Coordinator reports to the Director of Marketing and is responsible for implementing strategy and coordinating activities that support recruitment, enrollment and other areas as requested by the Director. S/he works collaboratively with the Marketing Associate.


In particular, the Marketing Coordinator is responsible for the following:

Faith and Mission
- Ensures that the Catholic identity of the Academy is developed and nurtured
- Models and promotes the Mission of the Academy

Communications
- Maintains the Admissions websites and social media
- Assures that registration information for all admissions events is complete.
- Serves as primary contact for outside vendors providing social media strategy and execution to admissions efforts, in coordination with the Marketing Associate.
- Coordinates the creation, design and production of all print materials to be used in student recruitment activities.
- In collaboration with the Director of Marketing and Marketing Associate, coordinates advertising buys in print, digital and social media formats for all recruitment efforts and summer camps. Including maintenance of online directories.
- Maintains and updates marquee announcements.

Public Relations and Marketing
- Solicits new/updates from the Ursuline community to be included in admissions recruitment materials, social media, etc.
- Serves as point of contact for and day-of coordinator for photo and video shoots with external partners; serves as photographer for campus events.
- Facilitates the development and distribution of marketing materials to prospective students for recruitment events that fall within and outside of the work day.
- Designs, purchases and assembles promotional items in coordination with direction set by the Admissions team.
- Communicates event information to area print and online calendars.
- Provides on-site support for recruitment activities.
- Implements the strategic planning objectives which relate to enhancing and promoting Ursuline’s image to the community at large

Other Dimensions
- Keeps abreast of current public relations and marketing developments, strategies, and tools through professional reading and training
- Maintains a guide to annual procedures/calendars/etc. for the position.
- Accepts additional responsibilities as directed by the President of the Academy and the Director of Marketing

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, marketing or communications major preferred
- Knowledge of and comfort level with various social media platforms
-Graphic Design experience, specifically Canva and Adobe Suite
