Long-Term Substitute Math Teacher St. Joseph’s Academy

St. Joseph Academy, a Catholic, college-preparatory high school for young women in St. Louis, Missouri, is seeking a dedicated Long-Term Substitute Math Teacher November 1st through January 31st for the 2025-2026 school year. We are looking for an educator with teaching experience who is passionate about mathematical concepts and committed to fostering an engaging learning environment for students.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Teaching Precalculus and AP Statistics, delivering effective lessons, assignments, and assessments.

·         Planning, grading student work, and posting grades using Canvas LMS.

·         Provide individualized student support as needed.

·         Maintain classroom structure and uphold school policies.

·         Collaborate with department faculty and administration to ensure academic continuity.

Qualifications:

·         Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.

·         Valid teaching certificate required.

·         Strong classroom management and communication skills are a plus.

·         Ability to adapt to an established curriculum and engage students effectively.
