K - 8 Co-PE Teacher Andrews Academy, Lake Saint Louis

Andrews Academy Lake Saint Louis is seeking an enthusiastic, energetic, and child-centered Co-Physical Education Teacher to become a valued member of our school community for the 2026– 2027 academic year.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Ability to collaborate with an Co- PE Teacher to provide developmentally appropriate lessons for Kindergarten through Eighth Grade students
• An ability to inspire a variety of engaging strategies for children to maintain good physical and mental health and wellness is essential
• Expertise to effectively communicate and coordinate with parents and coaches from other schools to arrange athletic competitions
• Ability to coach students to develop athletic skills and positive sportsmanship+

Ideal Candidate:

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education or related field of study
• Demonstrated passion for teaching and learning in an innovative environment
• Ability to work in a collegial and highly collaborative environment
• Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to connect with students, families, and colleagues

Teaching Responsibilities:

• Assist in the growth of the social, emotional, and physical developmental needs of students in Kindergarten – Eighth Grade
• Teach a variety of sports and physical activities to meet the various ability levels across grade levels
• Collaborate with the Co-Physical Education teacher to plan and deliver engaging lessons and activities that inspire children to be physically active, learn technique, demonstrate good sportsmanship, and develop lifelong habits for healthy living
• Be an active and collaborative member in the school community
