Job Description: Christian Brothers College High School is seeking a passionate and experienced STEM Computer Science Teacher to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a committed educator with experience in computer science that includes teaching a variety of computer science courses.
The STEM Computer Science Teacher will be responsible for teaching a variety of courses covering programming, web development, game development, and other computer science concepts. Additionally, this role includes active participation in co-curricular computer science activities, providing students with hands-on learning experiences beyond the classroom. Some evening and weekend availability is required for events and competitions.

Responsibilities:
· Teach engaging and rigorous computer science courses, including:
o Game Development
o Web Development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
o Python Programming
o Computer Science Principles
· Design and implement innovative lesson plans and instructional materials.
· Assess student learning through projects, assessments, and feedback.
· Actively participate in and lead co-curricular computer science activities, clubs, and competitions.
· Collaborate with colleagues to enhance and evolve the computer science curriculum.
· Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
· Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to support student growth.
Qualifications:
· Experience teaching computer science courses, preferably at the high school level.
· Proficiency in Computer Science Principles.
· Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
· Passion for mentoring students and engaging them in computer science learning beyond the classroom.
· Availability for occasional evening and weekend events related to co-curricular activities.
