Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday

Position Overview
EYC Academy is seeking a passionate and creative Art Teacher to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will inspire middle and high school students to explore artistic expression, develop technical skills, and build confidence through a variety of visual art forms.
Key Responsibilities
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity and risk-taking
- Design and deliver engaging art instruction across multiple mediums (drawing, painting, mixed media, etc.)
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs and learning styles
- Assess and provide meaningful feedback on student work and artistic growth
- Integrate opportunities for student choice, voice, and creative exploration
- Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events
- Contribute to the overall culture and creative vision of the school
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Art Education, Fine Arts, or a related field
- Teaching certification or licensure preferred but not required
- Previous experience teaching art at the middle or high school level is highly desirable
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to inspire, engage, and motivate students through creative instruction
- Commitment to continuous professional growth
