Front Office Coordinator

Full-Time | The Church of St. Michael & St. George + St. Michael School
Location: Clayton, MO

The Church of St. Michael & St. George and St. Michael School are seeking a friendly, professional, and highly organized Front Office Coordinator to serve as the first point of contact for both the church and school communities. This shared role supports the day-to-day operations of both offices with a focus on hospitality, communication, and administrative excellence.


Key Responsibilities

Reception & Communication

  • Greet students, parents, parishioners, and visitors with warmth and professionalism

  • Answer and direct phone calls and emails

  • Maintain visitor logs and manage student sign-in/sign-out procedures

  • Accept mail and deliveries; notify appropriate staff

Calendar & Scheduling

  • Manage the church’s master space calendar and event reservations

  • Coordinate room use and communicate scheduling details to staff and vendors

  • Assist with planning and communications for school events as needed

Administrative Support

  • Provide general office support (copying, filing, data entry, supply ordering)

  • Support staff and leadership with light administrative tasks and special projects

  • Report maintenance issues to the appropriate party

Safety & Confidentiality

  • Monitor school entrance and buzz in visitors per security protocol

  • Assist with medication administration according to school policy

  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times


Qualifications

  • Warm, outgoing, and customer-service oriented

  • Strong multitasking, time management, and organizational skills

  • Comfortable working in a faith-based, mission-driven environment

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and basic data systems

  • Prior front desk, school, church, or office experience preferred
