Front Office Coordinator

The Church of St. Michael & St. George and St. Michael School are seeking a friendly, professional, and highly organized Front Office Coordinator to serve as the first point of contact for both the church and school communities. This shared role supports the day-to-day operations of both offices with a focus on hospitality, communication, and administrative excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Reception & Communication

Greet students, parents, parishioners, and visitors with warmth and professionalism

Answer and direct phone calls and emails

Maintain visitor logs and manage student sign-in/sign-out procedures

Accept mail and deliveries; notify appropriate staff
Calendar & Scheduling

Manage the church’s master space calendar and event reservations

Coordinate room use and communicate scheduling details to staff and vendors

Assist with planning and communications for school events as needed
Administrative Support

Provide general office support (copying, filing, data entry, supply ordering)

Support staff and leadership with light administrative tasks and special projects

Report maintenance issues to the appropriate party
Safety & Confidentiality

Monitor school entrance and buzz in visitors per security protocol

Assist with medication administration according to school policy

Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
Qualifications

Warm, outgoing, and customer-service oriented

Strong multitasking, time management, and organizational skills

Comfortable working in a faith-based, mission-driven environment

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and basic data systems

Prior front desk, school, church, or office experience preferred
