Foreign Language Teacher The Waldorf School of St. Louis
Our experiential curriculum gives you the freedom to spark the students' imaginations while fostering the holistic development of our children's capacities. Our Foreign Language curriculum introduces diverse cultures and people through singing, stories, projects, games, and speech, cultivating a positive attitude toward people of other languages, cultures, and countries and encouraging the development of human understanding.
We have routinely taught Spanish, French, and German; however, the goal is to expand children’s overall capacities for learning languages. If you are a foreign language teacher, we are open to having our students learn any language — Swahili, Italian, Mandarin, Cantonese, Russian, Arabic, Korean, American Sign Language, and beyond.
We welcome you to visit us and see our students in action. At The Waldorf School of St. Louis, we rethink what is possible in education.
Schedule:
Part-Time teaching eight 40-minute classes per week to grades 1-8, generally between 11 am - 3 pm, though flexibility in scheduling can be discussed.
Candidates should also be willing to learn about Waldorf education.
