Events & Stewardship Coordinator Ursuline Academy

Ursuline Academy, a thriving Catholic, college-prep high school for girls located in Kirkwood, MO, is seeking applicants for the Event & Stewardship Coordinator position. 

This position acts as the point person for vital projects and special events. This is a hospitality-forward professional position that involves welcoming and engaging guests, supporting volunteers, and providing the structure to achieve event/project goals. 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Establishes committee structure with auction volunteer leadership; supports/monitors activity to assure goals are met and prepares/monitors the auction budget

  • Plans/executes Grandparents Day, Auction and Golf Classic. Ensures all logistics are managed effectively.

  • Assists parent engagement clubs with event and logistical support for both on and off-campus events

  • Collaborates on identification of sponsors, donor prospects and other event resources

  • Partners to identify and execute meaningful stewardship activities for all donors, with special attention to those involved with and participating in events

  • Partners on important donor and alumnae events throughout the year

  • Serves as back up for acknowledgment letters, gift entry and data projects

  • Provides support to the Board of Trustees

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

  • Experience in special event coordination and financial goal setting

  • Ability to organize, balance priorities and guide event volunteers

  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently

  • Customer-service mindset, strong interpersonal and organizational skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

  • Attention to detail and a commitment to excellence

  • Ability to adjust schedule to meet school needs, including some evenings and weekends
