Early Childhood Associate Teacher Rohan Woods School

Rohan Woods School is seeking a part-time Associate Teacher to join our Early Childhood team for the remainder of the 2025–2026 school year. The Early Childhood classroom serves two-year-old students and is led by a team of three educators: one Lead Teacher and two Associate Teachers.

This hourly position emphasizes caring, consistency, and collaboration to help build a strong, age-appropriate foundation for our youngest learners.

Schedule:
7:45 a.m. – 12:15 p.m., Tuesday through Thursday
Follows the Rohan Woods School calendar, including two-week winter and spring breaks.

Responsibilities:

• Support the implementation of a creative, developmentally appropriate program.
• Assist in a variety of instructional and hands-on learning activities.
• Encourage the development of social skills, independence, and task completion.
• Foster positive peer interactions through play and model conflict-resolution skills.
• Guide children during academic exploration, play, and routine transitions.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment.
• Promote a safe, nurturing, play-based setting for all students.

Qualifications:

• Experience working with young children, preferably in an early childhood or preschool setting.
• Warm, patient, and collaborative approach with children and colleagues.
• Ability to take initiative, follow directions, and maintain consistency in routines.
• Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented mindset.
• Coursework in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred.
