About the School
Logos School is a mission-driven nonprofit independent school located in Olivette, Missouri, dedicated to providing individualized academic and therapeutic education for adolescents in grades 6–12 whose social, emotional, and learning needs have not been met in traditional school settings.
Founded in 1970, Logos has a long history of helping students build resilience and achieve academic, emotional, and social success. Today, the school maintains a low student-to-teacher ratio (approximately 6:1) and a strongly collaborative environment. Serving an average of 95-110 students annually, its comprehensive programming integrates individualized academic plans, clinical therapy services, and family involvement to help students develop the tools they need to thrive.
As a nonprofit organization, Logos relies on thoughtful stewardship of resources and community support to fulfill its mission of fostering a path to hope and success for every student it serves.
Position Overview
The Director of Finance & Human Resources serves as a strategic partner to the Head of School and the Board of Directors, providing leadership that ensures the financial health, operational strength, and regulatory compliance of the institution.
This role offers a unique opportunity for a mission-driven financial leader to shape the sustainability and institutional trajectory of a small independent school dedicated to supporting adolescents with social, emotional, and mental health needs.
