Coordinator of Experiential Learning Villa Duchesne
Villa Duchesne is seeking a Coordinator of Experiential Learning for our Lower School. The role of the Coordinator is to provide leadership and direction for students in grades JK3-6. The Coordinator will work during the academic school year and will be responsible for designing, planning, and delivering unique experiences to give these students opportunities for hands-on learning, engaging with outdoor education, gardening, cooking, camping, and STEM. The person in this role will partner with homeroom teachers to engage in cross-curricular work, therefore expanding project-based learning at Villa’s Lower School. This individual will foster students' appreciation for nature and provide opportunities for personal growth through critical thinking and problem solving. A conferred bachelor’s degree (master’s degree preferred) and previous teaching experience are required for this position.
