Classroom Teacher - Upper Elementary Andrews Academy, Creve Coeur

Andrews Academy – Creve Coeur is currently accepting applications for an Elementary Teacher position for the current 2025–2026 school year.

Job Qualifications and Requirements:

• Demonstrates a genuine love and compassion for working with children.
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of cognitive, social, and emotional development in children.
• Commitment to fostering a nurturing and engaging learning environment.
• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons in English Language Arts, Math and Social Studies.
• Maintain clear and consistent behavioral expectations.
• Strong written/oral communication skills, including proactively communicating with families through newsletters, parent-teacher conferences, progress reports and spontaneous check-ins.
• Foster a collaborative and team approach within the school environment.
• Participate in professional development, faculty meetings, and school events.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education.
• Master’s Degree preferred
• Current and valid teacher certification.
• At least two years of experience teaching elementary grades; preferably in grades 5 or 6.
