Now Accepting Applications for Full-time Teaching Positions for 2025-2026 School Year

The College School is an independent Preschool through Eighth Grade school in St. Louis, Missouri, with a focus on interdisciplinary, experiential, and outdoor education. We seek highly-skilled teachers who know the importance of cultivating relationships with students in order to empower their success. We seek individuals who are passionate about learning and life; who, through involvement with experiential education, know the value of our approach and who are a good fit for our unique learning community.

The positions involve:

• Joyfully and wisely guiding students through personal and intellectual discovery;
• Collaborating with the other full-time teachers on design and implementation of an engaging, age-appropriate, thematically-integrated, experiential curriculum;
• A comfort teaching various discipline areas;
• Team teaching in interdisciplinary project-based classes;
• Actively participating in and contributing to the school’s professional community and curricular goals through meetings, committees, and professional development;
• Salary that is commensurate with experience.

Applicants should have:

• A desire to work hard, learn new things, and be compassionate;
• Experience teaching experiential, thematic, progressive, child-centered education;
• Classroom teaching experience;
• A desire to contribute to a culture of excellence among students and colleagues;
• Experience with or belief in outdoor education pedagogy and practice;
• Training and experience in working with student support, such as individualized learning plans and differentiation
• Master’s degree in an appropriate field is preferred;
• An openness to obtaining a CDL license to drive our school buses on trips is preferred.
