1st grade teacher New City School
New City School inspires children to engage joyfully in learning and achieve academic excellence while cultivating their personal strengths and passions. We empower our students to build community and advocate for a more just and equitable world. Inside our red doors, we believe there are “so many ways to be smart” and teachers are architects of an interdisciplinary curriculum. Our 5 acre campus has ample opportunities for students to learn and explore outdoors and is uniquely positioned within the city of St. Louis, in walking distance of Forest Park, enabling students to learn both inside and outside the classroom.
NCS is a progressive independent school serving approximately 330 students, ages three - 6th grade. We are seeking a joyful, creative, and thoughtful practitioner to join our collaborative first grade team.
