S.O.A.R. SUMMER OPPORTUNITIES AT ROSSMAN

S.O.A.R. keeps children ages 4 through grade 6 active, curious, and learning all summer long. Whether your child attends Rossman or not, all are welcome to join the fun, make new friends, and explore new interests.
Rossman School offers morning, afternoon, and full-day camps across three weeks in June, featuring hands-on experiences in art, nature, sports, math, cooking, and more. Campers are welcomed into the same nurturing environment and high-quality programming that defines the Rossman School experience—educational, recreational, and full of opportunities for connection and joy.

Sample Camp Offerings:
Junior Beekeepers — Grades 1-6
Join Rossman Science teacher Mrs. Boyd for Junior Beekeepers! Students will have hands-on experiences with Rossman’s Bees. These adventures will be both indoor and outdoor experiences and will include beekeeping tools, hive inspections, learning about common threats and pests, building bee baths, weird but true bee facts, planting flowers, honey taste tests, and more. Students will gain confidence and skills to prepare them for a lifelong love of learning and appreciation of bees!
Ricardo’s Kitchen Creations — Grades 3-6
Join Rossman’s dining team for a culinary adventure! After touring the Rossman kitchen, campers will learn how to be safe and organized as they set out to prepare tasty foods. Campers will enjoy making a variety of dishes from breakfast favorites to lunch and dinner meals to fan-favorite desserts.
Engineering: Think, Build, Solve! — Grades 3-5
Join Rossman teacher Mrs. Smith for this 5-day STEM camp for 3rd-5th graders that challenges young inventors to think critically, collaborate in teams, and tackle real-world problems using creative engineering. Each day features a short lesson followed by hands-on team challenges, where students design and build innovative projects using everyday materials. From constructing towers to creating wind-powered machines, campers will learn science, technology, engineering, and math in a fun and interactive way
Tennis the Menace and Dinkasaurus Pickleball — Grades JK-1
Join us for Tennis the Menace and Dinkasaurus Pickleball where Tennis and Pickleball combine into one. We use games and music to keep the energy high all while learning the basic strokes of tennis and pickleball. Your child will have loads of fun learning the many differences and similarities between Pickleball and Tennis. No standing around in long lines, we are literally moving and grooving from start to end! This class is great for kids in JK-1st grade.
