Countryside Montessori School

Give your child a summer to remember! Countryside offers five-day half-day or full-day opportunities for children ages 1-5. Enroll for the whole summer, June 2-August 8, or for just a two-week session. Countryside is dedicated to the education of the whole child.

Children enrolled in our MDO Camp (12-24 month old's) have outdoor play that includes water play, climbing, sliding, ride on toys, pretend play or just relaxing on the stationary platform swing. While inside, the children spend their time in the Montessori and Sensory areas as well as enjoying Music, Art and free play activities. 

Our Toddler Campers start their outside time with morning snack. Then they can choose between water play, climbing/sliding, ride on toys, playing with balls and bubbles or pretending to serve up some healthy foods in the pretend play area. There is also a large sandbox and lots of shade! They end their outside time with music activities. Once inside, the children have Montesori work time, art and free play activities.

Our Pre-K campers start out their day on the playground where they can enjoy a pony ride. They can also spend their time riding trikes in Parker's Landing where they can also pretend to be a mailman, go to the market or play in the pizza and ice cream parlor. If they want to be more physical there are the climbers, timber beam and large grass area to run around and "just being kids". Children also spend an hour in the heated salt water pool and when inside they have Montessori work time and art. Gardening is also a favorite when they spend time in the outdoor classroom.
