Brehm Preparatory School
Session: June 22-July 19, 2025
Theme: Guardians of The Planet
The Brehm Summer Program is an immersive 4-week adventure-based camp that prioritizes experiential learning through hands-on, real-world experiences. Designed to engage campers both academically and socially, the program offers a carefully balanced schedule that includes structured academics, creative electives, and exciting local excursions. However, we take the concept of learning beyond the classroom a step further by expanding our adventure to neighboring states, including Kentucky, Indiana, and Missouri. These out of state trips allow campers to explore a variety of enriching environments, scenic campsites, fascinating museums, historical landmarks, and hidden gems that that showcase the diverse beauty of our region and planet.
A cornerstone of the Brehm Summer Program is our commitment to fostering meaningful connections with nature. To achieve this we enforce strict technology-free times, encouraging campers to step away from screens and fully immerse themselves in the outdoors. This approach allows participants to engage with their surroundings, develop a deeper understanding of nature's vast beauty, and form authentic connections with peers. Whether hiking through woodland trails, discovering cultural treasures, or simply gazing at starlit skies around the campfire, the program cultivates opportunities for personal growth, teamwork and discovery. By combining academics, exploration, and unplugged adventure, the Brehm Summer Program provides an enriching summer experience that leaves lasting memories and skills to carry forward into the future.
