St. Joseph’s Academy

St. Joseph’s Academy is a Catholic, all-girls, college-preparatory high school, sponsored by St. Joseph Educational Ministries, that was founded and inspired by the charism of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet. Since 1840, the Academy’s mission has been to provide quality Catholic education to young women in an environment that challenges them to grow in faith, knowledge, and respect for themselves and others through a blend of rigorous academics, exposure to the arts, competitive athletics, and a variety of service opportunities. St. Joseph’s Academy develops values-driven women leaders and expects them to make a profound impact in the world.

St. Joseph's Academy offers a challenging curriculum featuring honors, college credit, and Advanced Placement courses that prepare students for the rigors of college and beyond. A variety of organized sports and clubs also enhance student development – all of which are reflected in our school motto, “Not I, But We.” Nurturing intellect, talent, and a passion for service, St. Joseph’s Academy shapes young women in profound ways.

Affording a St. Joe Education

As a faith-based community, we are committed to ensuring that every qualified young woman has an opportunity for a St. Joseph’s Academy education. Our financial aid awards are based on financial need, taking into account assets, liabilities, income, expenses and the number of students attending fee-based schools. We encourage families that have special circumstances to bring it to our attention. Each student’s award decision is unique based on the information provided.

Over 35% of students receive financial aid, ranging from $1,000 to full tuition. This year, we were able to award financial aid to all families that qualified. Financial aid awards may include some work grants. Families must re-apply each year through FACTS Grant and Aid.
