The Academy of the Sacred Heart, an independent, private, Catholic school in Saint Charles, MO, invites applications for a Lower School Teaching Assistant for the 2024-25 school year. Ideal candidates should have an excellent background elementary childhood education. Teaching experience is a plus. They will be required to be a collaborative member of a highly professional learning community.

Mission Expectation
Once hired, teachers and support staff are expected to familiarize themselves with and live the Goals and Criteria of Sacred Heart Education.
Other Professional Expectations:
- Possess a degree in elementary education or experience working in an elementary childhood environment.
- Demonstrate a sincere passion for working with young students.
- Possesses effective classroom management skills.
- Collaborate and plan activities with the lead teacher.
- Work with small groups of students and one on one with students.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, administrators, and parents.
- Commit to ongoing professional development and growth.
