Schedule:
- Full-Time: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Part-Time: Flexible schedule based on availability and program needs

Position Overview
EYC Academy is seeking a dedicated and student-centered Math Teacher to join our team in either a full-time or part-time capacity. The ideal candidate will support middle and high school students in developing mathematical skills while fostering critical thinking, perseverance, and real-world application of mathematics.
This position offers the opportunity to work within a flexible, blended-learning environment where teachers build strong relationships with students and help them achieve academic success through personalized support and instruction.
Key Responsibilities
- Foster a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
- Provide instruction and academic support in middle school and high school mathematics courses
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs and learning styles
- Monitor student progress and provide timely intervention and support when needed
- Help students develop problem-solving, critical-thinking, and mathematical reasoning skills
- Utilize Edmentum and other instructional resources to support student learning
- Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues regarding academic progress
- Collaborate with staff to support student success and school-wide initiatives
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events
- Contribute positively to the culture, mission, and vision of EYC Academy
Preferred Areas of Expertise
Candidates should be comfortable supporting students in one or more of the following areas:
- Pre-Algebra
- Algebra I
- Geometry
- Algebra II
- Pre-Calculus
- Statistics
- College Readiness Mathematics
Experience supporting students in both traditional and online learning environments is highly desirable.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, Secondary Education, or a related field
- Teaching certification or licensure preferred but not required
- Previous experience teaching middle school and/or high school mathematics is highly desirable
- Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with students and families
- Commitment to student growth and individualized learning
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic educational environment
- Commitment to continuous professional growth
