Long Term Substitute Mathematics Teacher (Middle and Upper School) Villa Duchesne

Villa Duchesne Sacred Heart seeks a dedicated and dynamic Long-Term Substitute Mathematics Teacher to join our Middle School (Grades 6–8) and Upper School (Grades 9–12) communities for a two-month assignment during the fall semester (mid-August through mid-October). The successful candidate will teach Pre-Algebra and Precalculus courses while fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment consistent with the mission and values of Sacred Heart education.

Qualified candidates will possess a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics (master’s degree preferred) and previous teaching experience. The ideal candidate will:

·         Demonstrate a commitment to using a variety of instructional strategies and pedagogical approaches to support student learning.

·         Create an engaging and inclusive classroom environment that promotes academic growth and student confidence.

·         Effectively integrate technology into instruction, including experience with Google Classroom.

·         Collaborate positively with colleagues, students, and families.

·         Uphold the mission and values of Sacred Heart education.
