World History & Humanities Teacher – Alternative High School Location: Logos School, Olivette, Mo.  Full-time

Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and adaptable World History & Humanities Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with diverse learners and a commitment to innovative teaching methods that make history and humanities relevant and engaging.

Responsibilities:

·        Develop and deliver engaging lessons in world history and humanities tailored to students' needs.

·        Utilize creative and student-centered teaching strategies to foster curiosity and critical thinking.

·        Build strong relationships with students, providing mentorship and academic support.

·        Collaborate with colleagues to create interdisciplinary learning experiences.

·        Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.

·        Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Qualifications:

·        Bachelor’s degree in history, Humanities, Education, or a related field.

·        Teaching certification (or willingness to obtain certification). Special Education certification a plus.

·        Experience working with students in alternative or non-traditional settings is a plus.

·        Strong classroom management and relationship-building skills.

·        Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs.
