TITLE OF POSITION: Extended Day Aide
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Mature High School/College Student
- 1-2 years working with children
REPORTS TO: Assistant Principal
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Extended Day Aide assists in maintaining and implementing all aspects of operating the program.
STATUS: Monday through Friday 3:15-5:30pm $20 per hour
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Helps prepare program materials; assists in the daily clean-up of program projects.
- Assists in preparing routine paperwork.
- Attends instructional sessions as directed.
- Maintains a positive relationship with parents, children and other staff.
- Utilizes effective and appropriate behavioral management techniques.
- Assists in supervising and maintaining control of students and implementing planned recreational and educational activities.
- Maintains a safe physical environment.
- Performs all other responsibilities as assigned.
