Enrollment and Culture Associate Community School
Position Overview:
Community School is seeking a full-time Enrollment and Culture Associate to join our staff beginning in the 2026-2027 school year, as we fulfill our mission of nurturing the gifts of mind, body and spirit.
Founded in 1914, Community School is one of the most highly regarded independent schools in St. Louis. Known for its deeply personal and engaged approach to learning, the school enrolls approximately 350 students from age three through sixth grade. Our integrated, experiential curriculum combines strong academics with a deep commitment to the whole child’s growth and development. The school’s 18-acre campus, which includes trails, fields, woods, and a pond, provides rich opportunities for outdoor learning and exploration.
Community School classrooms average 20 students and are supported by a co-teaching team of two full-time teachers per homeroom. Our curriculum emphasizes hands-on, joyful learning, problem-solving, character education, and public speaking. Our specialist instruction includes: science, physical education, music, art, woodworking, drama, and French.
Position Responsibilities:
Community School is seeking a detail-oriented, relationship-forward professional to support the Director of Enrollment and Culture across admissions operations, community events, and culture programming. From a family’s first inquiry through enrollment and beyond, this role is central to how families experience our school. It requires organizational precision, genuine warmth, and a deep commitment to inclusive community.
The Enrollment and Culture Associate will:
Admissions & Enrollment

Manage applicant records, communications, and data in Blackbaud throughout the admissions cycle

Schedule student visitors, parent interviews, and tours; coordinate Gesell developmental assessments from logistics to scoring

Prepare Welcome Boxes for Decision Day; enter decisions and send communications on schedule

Support new family onboarding, re-enrollment, and enrollment reporting
Tours & Marketing

Coordinate tour guides, lead tours when needed, and maintain the Tour Guide Flipbook

Update admission materials with the Director and Communications team; mail brochures to inquiring families
Events & Community

Support admission and culture events end-to-end: invitations, RSVPs, setup, name tags, and supplies

Partner with the Director on events that reflect the school’s mission and commitment to belonging
General Administrative

Meet weekly with the Director; serve as a member of the Admission Committee and attend ISSL meetings

Troubleshoot Blackbaud with families; manage admissions supply inventory

Participate in school-wide duties including lunch, arrival, and dismissal
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required

2+ years of administrative, operations, or school experience preferred

Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage competing deadlines with calm and care

Warm, professional communicator with families, faculty, and colleagues

Proficiency with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office; Blackbaud experience a plus

Ability to maintain strict confidentiality with student records, family information, and admissions decisions

Availability to work some nights and weekends; desire to be an active, caring member of the school community
Start Date: July 2026, with possible professional development opportunities in the summer.
