Job Title: Content & Digital Media Specialist 
Reports To: Vice President of Advancement & Communications  

Position Overview 

Christian Brothers College High School seeks a Content & Digital Media Specialist to help bring the schools mission to life through design and visuals. This role will provide content and manage channels to support community engagement as well as enrollment and advancement work. 

Key Responsibilities 

Social Media  

  • Create and publish content across CBC’s social media platforms 

  • Maintain a consistent posting schedule tied to school events and priorities 

  • Provide and source photo/video content to reflect student life and strategic priorities  

Graphic Design  

  • Design effective graphics for social media, email, and events 

  • Ensure consistency with CBC’s brand 

  • Support print and advertising needs as assigned  

Digital Advertising 

  • Support and manage Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and Google Ads campaigns 

  • Assist with ad copy, visuals, and basic performance tracking 

  • Monitor budget and results and adjust as needed  

Website & Email 

  • Update website content for accuracy and timeliness 

  • Assist with content migration to new website  

  • Source content from key school leaders and produce the weekly parent e-newsletter 

  • Assist with community and school-wide emails as needed  

Event Coverage 

  • Photograph key school events, including athletics and student activities 

  • Maintain an organized photo library for ongoing use 

  • Work with student photographers and others to source photographs for use in a variety of channels  

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field 

  • 1 to 3 years of relevant experience 

  • Strong writing and organizational skills 

  • Experience with social media platforms 

  • Proficiency in Canva with Adobe experience preferred  

  • Photography and photo editing ability as needed for social media posts  

  • Familiarity with Google Ads and Meta Ads preferred
