Position Summary
Rohan Woods School is seeking a dependable, warm, and energetic Before Care Supervisor to provide a welcoming and safe start to the school day for students ages 2 - 8. The Before Care Supervisor will supervise students for early morning arrival, facilitate a positive and engaging environment, and assist with morning carpool duty from 7:45 to 8:00am.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children, is attentive to safety and student needs, and can consistently provide a calm and organized presence during the busy morning arrival.
Essential Responsibilities
- Monitor student activities and interactions to ensure a safe, respectful, and positive environment.
- Assist students with transitioning from Before Care to their classrooms.
- Participate in morning carpool duty, helping ensure students arrive safely and efficiently.
- Communicate appropriately with parents, faculty, and staff during morning arrival.
- Address minor student needs and concerns with patience and good judgment.
- Report any safety concerns, incidents, or student needs to the appropriate administrator.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working with children preferred.
- Dependable and punctual with consistent attendance.
- Warm, patient, and positive approach to working with children.
