Auxillary Program Coordinator St. Michael’s Episcopal Day School

Position Summary:

We are seeking a nurturing and organized Auxiliary Program Supervisor to lead our program serving infants through junior kindergarten. This role oversees before- and after-school care, school break programming, and summer camp, while also coordinating childcare for church activities including Sunday services and special events (occasionally serving older children). This position ensures a safe, engaging, and faith-centered environment for all children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily extended care operations and programming
  • Supervise, train, and schedule staff
  • Plan developmentally appropriate activities for young children
  • Ensure safety and proper ratios
  • Communicate effectively with families and leadership
  • Coordinate childcare for church services, events, and summer programs
  • Administer summer camp for school age children June-August
  • Coordinate before and aftercare for infant-school age June and July

Qualifications:

  • Experience with infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children
  • Previous leadership or program management experience preferred
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Background in early childhood education or related field preferred
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Hours:

  • Flexible schedule depending on Church Season
  • 4 weekdays 2-6pm and 7-12 on Sundays
  • 12 month position

Pay: $40,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year
