Chaminade College Preparatory School, an independent, Catholic school, is dedicated to developing the inherent spiritual, intellectual, emotional, and physical potential of young men in middle and high school. We are currently accepting applications for a Director of Athletics. This position is responsible for, among other things, coordinating and staffing all aspects of the athletic department, contracting game officials, providing security and supervision for competitions, and maintaining and improving athletic equipment and fields. The Director will work closely with the administration to ensure that the Chaminade mission is presented well and lived out among our students and staff.

 

Ideal candidates will have experience, an advanced degree, and an understanding of how to best teach in a male learning environment. The candidate needs to have a strong understanding of the rigor of a college prep school while at the same time an understanding of the multiple learning challenges of a diverse student population.
