After School/Extended Day Counselor New City School

NEW CITY SCHOOL is a leading independent school located in St. Louis’ historic Central West End neighborhood, enrolling approximately 350 students from age 3 through 6th Grade. Our teachers provide an education that is challenging yet developmentally appropriate and supportive, as they work to empower and encourage children to be active and engaged learners. The teaching and learning environment at New City is rooted in child development and our faculty themselves are learners, constantly searching for ways to improve their practice.

POSITION OVERVIEW: New City School seeks creative and nurturing Extended Day Counselors to work with other adults to plan activities and play with children in our after school care program. This is a part time position.

PAY: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
