Summer camps at St. John Vianney High School offer boys entering grades 2-8 in the 2026-27 school year the chance to learn new skills while having fun and making friends.

Choose from an incredible lineup—Art, Baseball, Baseball Hitting, Basketball, Chess, Esports, Football, Golf, Hiking, Lacrosse, Mad Science, Minecraft Computer Coding, Soccer, Space & Engineering, Speed & Agility, Sports Broadcasting, Strength & Conditioning, Track & Field, Volleyball, and Wrestling.

Our expert coaches and faculty provide hands-on learning experiences on our beautiful 37-acre campus in Kirkwood, located near the intersection of I-270 and I-44 at the Lindbergh Boulevard exit.

SPORTS

BASEBALL CAMP | Grades 2-8

Varsity Coach Dave Stewart played Division I and was a Missouri Class 5 Baseball Coach of the Year. This camp is for beginner, intermediate, and advanced players. Players bring their own equipment.

BASEBALL HITTING CAMP | Grades 6-8

Learn how to hit with Varsity Coach Dave Stewart while focusing on fundamentals. Players bring their own equipment.

BASKETBALL CAMP | Grades 3-8

This skill-development camp helps players learn to hoop, compete, and have fun! Attend one or more sessions with Varsity Coach Kevin Walsh, 2025 John Wooden Legacy Award winner.

FOOTBALL CAMP | Grades 2-8

Varsity Coach Chris Starkey focuses on skills and fundamentals for all players. Campers also learn the finer points of leadership and teamwork.

GOLF CAMP | Grades 6-8

Golfers of all skill levels can work on their game with Head Coach Bob Meyer. Golfers hone their skills and travel to area courses throughout the week. Players bring their own clubs.

LACROSSE CAMP | Grades 6-8

Coach Nate Stein emphasizes both individual and team skills. Players bring their own equipment.

SOCCER | Grades 2-8

Hall of Fame Varsity Coach Brian Haddock invites campers to attend one or both sessions for beginner, intermediate, and advanced soccer players.

TRACK & FIELD CAMP | Grades 2-8

Varsity Coach Dan Didier invites runners, throwers and jumpers—anyone who wants to get into competitive shape. Campers have their form recorded and analyzed for optimal conditioning.

VOLLEYBALL CAMP | Grades 4-8

Varsity Coach Jillian Hoge hosts this camp for all levels of talent, guiding campers from basic to advanced skills.

WRESTLING CAMP | Grades 2-8

Varsity Coach Alex Borje teaches grappling for beginning to experienced wrestlers!

ART CAMP | Grades 5-8

Explore your creativity with a week of drawing, ceramics, printmaking, and painting. All materials supplied.

AstroInnovators | Grades 2-5

In our hands-on, collaborative lab, campers step into the role of NASA engineers, thinking like innovators, to tackle space-themed challenges. This is operated by MadScience Camps of St. Louis on Vianney's campus.

CAMP IGNITION | Grades 6-8

Get ready for fun, hands-on science activities that test the laws of physics. Design, create, and test different types of rockets, and see who can design the one that soars the highest! All equipment supplied.

CHESS CAMP | Grades 2-8

Campers of all skill levels are welcome, even those new to chess. Learn tactics and strategies through lessons and puzzles, culminating in a chess tournament.

ESPORTS CAMP | Grades 7-8

Attend one or more sessions in the Esports Center and dive into the world of gaming. Campers will learn and strategize alongside Vianney’s Esports Team in a fun, supportive environment. All equipment supplied.

MINECRAFT CODING CAMP | Grades 6-8

This camp focuses on using Minecraft Education Edition (M:EE) and the built-in Code Builder called MakeCode blocks. This platform bridges the gap between drag-and-drop block coding and real-world commands, all while using a game campers love to play.

SPORTS BROADCASTING CAMP | Grades 6-8

Step into the booth and learn to call games like the pros! Join Staff Andrew Rogers, co-host of “The Fight” on KMOV-TV, for a week of videography, broadcasting and even run a press conference!

HEALTH & WELLNESS

GREAT OUTDOORS CAMP | Grades 5-8

See the best hiking trails in the area, led by Faculty Dave Gauvain. Campers will travel from Vianney to various locations for hiking and outdoor exploration. Transportation included.

SPEED & AGILITY CAMP | Grades 5-8

Hall of Fame Varsity Coach Brian Haddock offers change-of-direction techniques, stride length, and body positioning to improve athleticism for all sports.

STRENGTH & CONDITIONING CAMP | Grades 5-8

Varsity Coach Chris Starkey is a certified strength and conditioning specialist. Campers will learn how to safely and effectively weight train and other athletic movements.
