Please help us spread the word to your faculty and staff of color. With this kick-off event, is proud to share that we are restarting the racial affinity group, Educators of Color, for any staff of color at participating ISSL schools. Participants will enjoy fellowship and build community with educators at other ISSL schools, grow through professional development, discuss the challenges of navigating and negotiating racial issues, and heal through self and collective care.
ISSL is partnering with Paya Sample, founder and CEO of Pedagogy in Action, to facilitate and develop this program. Paya is a former administrator and teacher with over 17 years of experience in the education landscape.
