Anxiety, depression, and suicide rates in children and teens are high and continue to rise. New approaches are needed to address this mental health crisis. A model utilized at Saint Louis University School of Medicine that resulted in an 80% reduction in rates of depression and anxiety will be described. The workshop will then focus on how this model could be implemented in independent schools in St. Louis, what barriers are likely, and how they could be overcome.
